Doodly Defense - Update v2!


Hey! 

Here is the update for v2 for Doodly Defense! There are quite a few smaller changes here, with a major update being how we are structuring the game. See the updates below:

Gameplay

  • One level, more waves: we have chosen to have one level with more waves in rather than having 3 levels. This is due to us not having alot of time left for the project :( Waves are now 10 in total, with more enemies in each wave
  • Wave 9 and wave 10 have increase spawn time intervals 0.5 -> 1.5 seconds
  • Extra build slot to the left of the scribbly to help with the later waves
  • Moved the most bottom right builds slot up due to it cause slow down time issues
  • Gold given on creepy crawly death 50 -> 30 gold

Doodlys

  • Doodlys now have Idle animations
  • Spookums stun time has been reduced from 3 -> 1 second
  • When you now upgrade Old Hydie and Spookums their control effect increase in duration
    • Old Hydie slow duration level 1 = 3 second, level 2 = 6 seconds & level 3 = 9 seconds
    • Spookums stun duration, level 1 = 1 second, level 2 = 2 seconds & level 3 = 3 seconds

Art

  • VFX for gold given on enemy death changed due to gold amount given changing

UI

  • How to Play screen changes
  • Build selection animation has been sped up slightly
  • Upgrade button now displays the correct graphic
  • Losing the game should now display the correct screen
  • Basic credits added to credits menu

Sound

  • Enemy Death sounds now have been incorporated with the sound effects volume slider
